The end of March concludes the Winter 2023 anime season!
While your favorite show may be ending, we get to enjoy another batch of figures for your favorite waifus and husbandos! Let's take a look at some figures available for pre-order that you may have missed!
Boku no Hero Academia

We have a great figure of Eraser Head mid-fight! The figure showcases how he manipulates his Capturing Weapon. The pedestal is nicely detailed and adds some height to help with the compact design of Shouta’s pose.
In addition, you can display him with or without his goggles.

Mirko, the highest-ranking female pro hero in Japan demonstrates her power in this wonderful figure.
The pose is definitely appropriate for the Rabbit hero and highlights her leg strength and jumping power. The details around her ears and definition on her muscles is nicely done!
Since the base is very similar to the previous figure of Eraser Head, they may display nicely as a pair.

For those Mirko fans out there, you get to choose from two Mirko figures! If you prefer a figure with a little more action, this one has her kicking technique “Luna Arc” ready to beat down some baddies!
Details like her strong-willed expression, her muscular beauty, and her lively long white hair are nicely done. The lettering on the pedestal is also very reminiscent of a comic book panel.

Get ready for the next match with this figure of Yoichi.
Like the rest of the Pop Up Parade line, this is a solid figure for a very reasonable price. While not overly flashy, it does a good job recreating Yoichi as he continues to try to achieve his goal to become the world's best striker!

The soccer genius with only six months of playing experience can be brought home as a Nendoroid! It comes with three different face plates: composed, sleeping and serious.
As a Nendoroid you also get additional accessories to use like a soccer ball and lemon tea. With all of the optional parts, you can feel free to try different poses for Nagi until you find what you like best!

The beautiful Lum, who flew down from outer space! Holding an ice cream and staring at the viewer with a very cute expression is most appropriate for this innocent, faithful, and good-natured girl. The base has nice additions that complete this figure rather well!

The Immortal Sugimoto takes aim in Hokkaido’s harsh winter. His clothes and equipment have been nicely painted and show realistic wrinkles that accompany the movement of the body and wind. His belt, boots and ammunition case have the texture of leather.
In addition, the base does a great job reflecting the setting of the work with snow covered trees and rocks!
This is just a really bad ass figure!

The solitary sniper, Ogata the Wildcat is here with his type 30 rifle.
The painting on the wood and iron looks like it has texture and is realistic. Added binoculars placed on the rocky area and cartridges rolling at his feet are nice subtle additions and highlight Ogata’s position as a sniper.
Isekai Ojisan

While technically not a winter 2023 anime due to COVID-related delays, we finally got the season finale!
Suzailgillazegallnelbuzegillreagranzelga Elga… or as she is better known, Tsundere Elf, is getting her very own figure reproduction that is absolutely perfect for the character.
The figure highlights her personality with Tsun ⇔ Dere specifications. It comes with swappable expressions and hand parts to reveal the celestial stone ring for maximum deredere mode!
DanMachi

It’s always good to have choices. If a tsundere elf is not your thing, the calm and stoic Gale may be more to your liking.
Posing with a sense of speed and a well-designed base are a perfect match for the character. In addition, her weapons Alvs Lumina and Futaba firmly grasp show that she is ready for action!

From Bungou Stray Dogs we are graced with a figure set (sold separately) of Dazai and Nakahara! Wearing matching white suits these two dapper gentlemen can be placed side by side to create a larger scene.
The pink and blue of the shirts and accessories add good color balance to the white suits and stairs behind help give the figures some sense of depth. They also look good standalone, and it is not necessary to buy both.
BOFURI

Unfortunately as of writing this article the best heavy tank of the season, Raelza from Handyman Saitou in Another World, has no figure available. We do however get one for Maple!
But this time she is a little less armored. Appearing in a swimsuit which uses the same color scheme as her armor and shield, we get a nice figure of Maple running on the beach! They even added some roses to the removable skirt to again match her armor.
If you thought Maple was cute before, I am sure you will also enjoy Maple with her armor removed.

In addition to Maple, we also get a swimsuit-equipped Sally!
Similar to the previous figure, they used Sally’s traditional clothing as inspiration for the design of the bikini.
Her scarf and shorts are removable allowing for the bikini to be fully exposed. While Sally’s defense might be lowered more than usual with this figure, her charm can be demonstrated most when running along the beach!
While not necessarily a “set” as they can not be connected, the pair does look great together! These two best friends were made for each other.
Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san

For those of you who like to be bullied, we get a new figure of the best sadodere from recent anime.
Using the cover illustration of the manga's second volume for the figures design, Bell Fine made a great cast-off Nagatoro-san. By taking off her school uniform, you can display her in her swimsuit which is perfect as she should be releasing in the summer.
No matter what she is wearing, I for one wouldn’t mind being bullied by this feisty girl!
The Eminence in Shadow

If you need more elves in your life, you can bring home the second seat of the Shichikage: Beta! Her jet-black slime suit highlights her… assets… and along with her cute smile we get a solid bishoujo figure.
Since it began airing in Fall 2022, Alpha has also been made available for pre-order and I would suspect that we will get more figures from this series in the future.

To wrap up this list, we have the adorable leader of “Akari,” Lily!
The figure is modeled after the illustration for the original light novel. This kind and bubbly girl is shown smiling as she sits on the window.
Due to the contrast of colors, the eye is drawn to her face and it is easy to miss the fact that she is holding a handgun. To me, it totally fits the spy theme regardless of how cute she may be!
