Gaming has had a very hard time recently. Major publishers have lost touch with their audience and have been putting out products that not many people want. This is good news for indie developers and smaller studios who should, traditionally, have a harder time carving a piece of the market pie. This could also mean that the next big doujin soft franchise is around the corner.

Doujin soft, or self produced software, has been the humble beginnings of huge successes like the Fate series and Higurashi. Both started as independently created visual novels which have garnered impressive fan bases over time. More recently, Girls' Frontline has enjoyed similar success with their sequel released globally last year.

Before Girls' Frontline, there was Codename: Bakery Girl. Developed by MICA team and released as an amateur production, it is Girls' Frontline’s predecessor but also a sequel set 30 years after Girls' Frontline’s story.

That brings us to today with Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery’s one year anniversary. This was actually a remake of the 2013, Chinese release of doujin soft Codename: Bakery Girl. Reverse Collapse is over 10 years old and for fans of Girls' Frontline, the reason your gacha game exists.

With Reverse Collapse turning one back in March, we are finally getting a figure release of main character Jefuty! This game was created before MICA team realized that people like feet (The core feature of Girls' Feetline 2) so she is sadly wearing boots.

In the game Jefuty is a bit distant, emotionless and numb to the horrors of war. As you progress, you learn more about her and the reason for her demeanor while also admiring her unwavering determination to achieve her mission. This figure does an amazing job capturing her cool attitude and always battle ready nature. Jefuty isn't meant to be a bishoujo. She is just one bad*ss babe.

Reverse Studio has done a nice job with Jefuty’s hair. There is a nice amount of detail and the purple underlights do a nice job of creating some shading and breaking up the subdued color palette. The ahoge hair flick is also a staple for anime protagonists.

Jefuty’s winter coat is tough to pull off on a budget but it looks acceptable. The fur around the collar and at the bottom of the jacket have just enough detail to be easily identifiable and looks alright. It is probably the weakest part of the figure. The same purple in the hair can be found and was a simple way to add some shading.

The triangular shape and openness at the bottom makes the coat look like it has a bit of weight to it. Surviving a harsh winter on the battlefield would require something heavy duty so only having slight movement here gives some realism.

As the Girls’ Frontline predecessor, of course weapons are of great importance. Jefuty wields a Mosin-Nagant which Reverse Studio has recreated well. It adds to the imposing imagery presented and shows Jefuty is ready for action.

Jefuty is currently available for pre-order with an expected March, 2026 release. She is eligible for our early bird discount so if you pre-order today you can save 10%!
