Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ(῀ʚ̴̶̷́ .̫ ʚ̴̶̷̥̀ ῀)ノ”
Today’s Early Bird special is yet another Death Note Nendoroid glow up: this time it’s L!
L was originally released as a Nendoroid (#17 to be precise!) in 2007. While his 2.0 version may have some similarities in poses and accessories, there is quite a drastic difference in the overall look... [ •́ ﹏ •̀ ]
L looks quite different from his original Nendoroid release; the bags under his eyes are now gradated to really show off his insomnolent nature and his hair features a brightness and texture missing from the original release.
The many details of L’s appearance have been perfectly captured, including his hunched posture! He includes both a squatting and standing bottom half, so you switch between his famous crouch to maximize his reasoning ability. To match his squat is his second thinking expression. His slightly open mouth means he can chew his nails as he analyses the case! (ԾεԾ|||)
L’s third expression is his adorable smiling expression! The bags under his eyes seem to lessen as he wears a thin smile. It’s perfect for when L indulges in some sweets - check out the strawberry shortcake that comes included, as well as the fork that he holds between his thumb and pointer finger! Speaking of strawberry shortcake…
L also comes with a pair of handcuffs, which you can use with Light 2.0 (sold separately). The handcuffs and shortcake will definitely get you a bit motivated to start a fight! (ง'̀-'́)ง
The new and improved L is perfect for your Death Note collection! Pre-order him today and save 17% with Solaris Japan!
“The next Death Note Nendoroid to get its makeover is none other than L! The detective’s striking look has been captured perfectly with three different expressions: standard, thinking, and smiling! He also comes with a chair, on which he can crouch, and a hearty slice of strawberry cake! L also includes a pair of handcuffs, which are perfect for posing with the newly redesigned Light Nendoroid [sold separately]. Add him to your collection!”
