A fleeting dream that vanishes when you open your eyes…

Pre-Order Taki and Mitsuha Now!

Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ( ʚ̴̶̷  .̫ ʚ̴̶̷ )ノ”
Do you believe in fate? Do you ever feel the pull of red threads tugging at your heart, urging you to search...for someone?
Well...this is your sign. ( ͡>⌣  ͡●)⊃
Gods smile upon us and grant us the blessing of Pop Up Parades! The merciful Good Smile Company has announced the release of Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu from the masterpiece movie “Your Name”! Makoto Shinkai’s opus barrelled through dimensions, moving our hearts with all media possible: from novel to animation and, finally, to figures!

If you happen to have the movie’s poster, then these figures are a perfect match for you: they reenact that same scene! They both look back, having heard the bells ringing during a fateful encounter. (◕o◕✿)

Taki looks up from the dullness of his life in Tokyo. Even a glittering city can lose its luster in the daily grind of work and study, and stress eats away at your hopes for the future. But he wears on his wrist a reminder of what’s to come...even if he doesn’t know it yet!
Take a moment to appreciate the detail on his messenger bag: the metallic effect on the buckles, the straps that curl outward from years of use, the leather stretching under the weight of his textbooks.

Mitsuha looks down on the valleys and fields she’s grown to know like the back of her hand. Life in a small town lacking the minimum for a high schooler to thrive can be just as wearisome. Teenagers are fickle creatures: too little and they’re bored, too much and they’re still bored.

But the dance of the young maiden of Miyamizu shrine pleases the gods, who shall grant her wish. The winds of change play with the braided cord on her hair and the red ribbon on her uniform.

A little hedgehog charm dangles from her bag, a detail that wasn’t lost even in the Nendoroid version!

But back to the Pop Up Parades: their outfits are simple, as are the threads connecting them. Still, you can feel the power of this iconic moment in their wistful gazes, looking at their future from each side of the twilight.

Can you feel it too? There is a place on your display where red strings of fate are twisting, tangling, unravelling and connecting again, looking for the ones who are meant to fill that spot.
These comet-bound lovers are set to illuminate the skies at the end of December, when the lines between the years blur. These phenomena are as fleeting and delicate as silk threads, so pre-order today!
We hope you enjoyed this one!
Until next time! ヾ(^∇^)
