As a huge Genshin Impact fan, this figure makes me so happy every time I see it. While I seldom play with Ningguang in the game, I knew I had to get this figure of her; it's simply stunning in every way. Not only is Ningguang herself incredibly pretty, but what really makes this figure special is the surroundings.
Crafted in perfect detail, Ningguang is surrounded by many little trinkets that bring you into her world. From the screen and the basket of scrolls behind her to the crystallized ‘smoke’ from the incense burner, the detailing and thought that went into this figure are apparent. The best thing? It lights up, giving her a truly stunning show in lower-lit areas of your collection shelves. Both the screen and the lamp light up to show off all the best features of this figure.
The second I saw this figure, I instantly fell in love. Another offering from MiHoYo on this list, but for their lesser-known game, Honkai Impact 3rd, this figure of Yae Sakura is simply beautiful. The standout of this figure is certainly the suspended ring she’s sitting on, which moves thanks to the real chain attachment, allowing her wings and dress to flow down to the ground. Apex put a lot of detail into the folds of fabric, as they are draped everywhere, giving a dream-like feel to the figure. No matter which way you choose to display this figure, you will be in for a feast of the eyes.
Taking a complete 180 from cute girls, let’s head over to the most morose of figures from Chainsaw Man. Seeing Denji standing atop a pile of corpses, including a recently decapitated one, and the little details of entrails along the chainsaws and the base of the figure make you look twice at this figure. However I will say, I did have to look twice to catch these details as I was more focused on Denji being surrounded by blood sprays crafted using clear red acrylic. It is an interesting choice of detail, but I can’t say I hate it. It perfectly encapsulates the essence of Chainsaw Man, and given the level of detail on this figure, which Shibuya Scramble is known for, it is amazing. Even if it is a bit gruesome.
Getting back to our regularly scheduled programming, let’s check out a cute but still fearsome girl. Yes, it’s the trusted swordswoman Raphtalia from Rising of Shield Hero… but she’s swapped her sword and armor for heels and a bodysuit here as she joins FREEing’s bunny girl lineup. Except… she’s not a bunny girl. Unlike most figures in this lineup, FREEing decided to leave Raphtalia as her race, the part tanuki, keeping her adorable tanuki ears and tail, rather than giving her the traditional bunny ears and tail. Personally, I think this is a great choice. If it ain't broke, don’t fix it, right?
The BiCute Bunnies series is a seriously fun series for Super Sonico. I love this pink version the most. The way that the bubblegum pink suit stands out against her light pink and blue ombre hair makes your eyes go straight to her famous assets. What I love most about this version is the white fishnet tights. Her red and black versions both feature black tights, but there’s something about the fishnets that makes it feel super sexy. Also, the thigh bulge around her garter doesn’t hurt either.
I’m a sucker for a blue and pink combo… maybe that’s why I love Minato Aqua? And I REALLY love the way she looks in this figure. It just makes me smile every time I see it! She looks so bouncy and full of life, doesn’t she? Aqua is seen here in her dress from her first solo live performance, and I have to say, it’s my favorite outfit of hers to date. It’s such a pretty princess dress. However, my favorite thing about this figure is the way her hair is sculpted. I genuinely wish my hair would be that expressive and bouncy! <(*.*)>
Overlord - Albedo - Shibuya Scramble Figure - 1/7 - Swimsuit Ver. (Alpha Satellite) [Shop Exclusive]
Have I seen Overlord? No. Did this figure still make me open my wallet? Yes. I mean, look at her; she’s STUNNING! If anything gets me to watch Overlord, it would be this figure.
Shibuya Scramble did such an amazing job with Albedo, didn’t they? From the way her cover-up flows over the form, enhancing her figure, to the water of the base rising around her, Albedo is crafted to perfection. The white swimsuit is delicately enhanced with some frills, and the gold jewelry directs your attention straight to her voluptuous figure. I can see why this succubus demon is popular. Even the tiny details in her eyes pull you in and make you feel like you’re about to be devoured. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind being devoured by her.
Who doesn’t love The Quintessential Quintuplets? They’re just too adorable. Miku is here looking like she’s going to enjoy an autumn date in her cozy knitted dress and a long cardigan. Her iconic headphones are present to keep away the whistling wind, or maybe block out her date’s voice (o.o)
I think the base makes this figure super interesting. The cobblestone effect paints a nice scene of an old brick road. Though it reminds me more of Europe than Japan, it fits with her outfit perfectly, and the red brick contrasts well with her cream-colored boots.
Spice and Wolf is such a classic shoujo series, and this figure of Holo brings out everything I love about it. Holo looks so happy in this figure, caught in action dancing her way through a green grassy field. I love the base of this figure to sell the depiction of the field, and despite it being blustery and on the cusp of winter outside, this figure gives me spring feelings.
Holo is recreated faithfully in this figure, even down to the tiny details of her fangs peeking out from her mouth. Her dancing figure in soft muted tones fits well with Holo’s character. If you’re already fed up with winter like I am, be sure to add a bit of spring back into your day.
Let’s round out this list with our favorite Saber class servant, Astolfo. He may not be able to be added to your waifu collection, but he is pretty enough to be added to this list. I always love how dynamic Fate series figures are, and this one is no exception. With his expression smug and his weapon, Vulcano Caligorante, encircling him like a whip, he is ready to strike down his enemies. Everything about this figure is meticulously designed, and you can feel the energy surging through it. It’s a real treat for Astolfo fans.
