Very Odd Pose

Ok so this has a very strange pose, if you look at the figure directly from the front of the figure with the nameplate dead in front you can’t see Nazuna’s face, it’s hidden by her right arm & collar (as you can see in one of my pics), you need to turn the figure sideways to get a proper view of her face if you have the figure up high. But this is a figure you really need to display low down in your display case if you want to fully view her, it doesn’t look good at all high up. But really you don’t get a good view from any angle.

It’s just not a good idea to pose a figure like this, it would have worked much better to have her on her side rather than her back, at least that way we could view her better & the overall look of the figure wouldn’t change, looking at her upside down is just dumb.

The sculpt is also a bit wonky in places, her legs look weird going in & out in places, her leg will get skinny, then go out wider & then back in on her right leg. Her left arm is also longer than her right and bends in a weird way, you can see the angle of her arm going into the coat & out doesn’t match where her elbow bends. And her left foot also looks odd, she’s wearing high heel shoes and looks fine on her right foot, but her left foot flattens out and the heel of the shoe is in the middle of her foot.

Her face sculpt & hair look good but it doesn’t have great likeness to Nazuna, it does have nice shading all throughout the figure.

The base looks excellent, the road with the traffic light & all the skyscrapers lit up at night look really good, and they go all the way to the back of the figure, there’s nearly 30 buildings in the base.

She’s also very large & takes up a lot of space because of the odd shape, she’s not just wide, but because of how the coat stretches back she’s very deep too.

So if you’re looking for a good Nazuna then try get the Kotobukiya, that’s an amazing figure, it’s perfect, I’ve added a pic of both beside each other. But if you’re a big Nazuna fan like me you might as well pick this up too.
