Description

Vash the Stampede is back! Modelled on Trigun Badlands Rumble, ARFXJ have graced us with an amazingly dynamic 1/8th scale figure of the Humanoid Typhoon and we couldn’t be more pleased to see it! This figure features a pair of Vash’s removable glasses and a cute Kuro-Neko partner figure as a bonus! But that’s not what makes this figure truly stand out. Everything from the meticulous painting and sculpting of the coat to the tiny metal details of his boots, not to mention his gun which has been 3d printed to give the most accurate depiction possible. It’s all topped off with an amazing base that not only has the Trigun logo stamped across it’s translucent acrylic riddled with bullet holes, but fits perfectly with it’s partner figure of Wolfwood.

Such a Cool Pose

Kotobukiya really are the best figure manufacturers, this figure was ¥14k on release and has the detail of figures in the ¥20k range. The sculpt & shading on this figure is amazing, the detail & shading on his pants & boots with all the little folds, tucks and nicks just look incredible.

Then the star of the show is his coat, with its glossy red paint with lots of heavy dark shading, as it flows out around him as being blown in the wind just looks outstanding.

Then the dynamic sideways pose as he points his gun in the direction of the matching Nicholas figure is just great. And then the portrait looks great, with good detail for a 1/8 figure, his hair almost looks metallic, so good. He comes with his yellow glasses that you can choose to display or not.

Even if you’re not a fan of Trigun this is an excellent figure to get just for the look of it.

Great

I like that this figure, although it's a good size, appears to be much bigger. The sculpt is very fluid and looka good. The coat is especially detailed and the paint job is excellent.
