When purchasing this figure I was actually struggling to choose between the one from Aniplex and Alter (this one). Despite the simple base I decided to get this one because the details looked much cleaner on the photos. I‘m really glad this is also the case in real life. The pattern on her kimono looks so smooth and even aligns at the shoulders. Her pose is really beautiful too, and the butterflies make the composition complete.
So far she’s perfect, but for completeness I also want to mention some very minor flaws. Unfortunately, the one I got has two small scratches on her sleeve as you can see on one photo. They are not huge, but due to the position noticeable.
The assembly was not as easy as for some other figures. The figure was a bit hard to properly attach to the base and it left a little gap, but barely noticeable. The butterflies were a quite difficult to attach too, because they seem so delicate and need to be handled carefully. The ones attached to the sword are the most difficult because they just have a tiny plastic pin, so it tends to fall of more easily when you touch it.

So besides those two points she’s really perfect and I would fully recommend getting her!

My favourite shinobu figure, alter did a great job with this one. Not only is the figure done really well, the base and butterfly effect looks really good. Flawless figure, 10/10
