Today’s Early Bird Special is the “I Believe in Future” Rikka Takarada figure from SSSS.Gridman!
This gorgeous figure is based off an illustration by the series director Amemiya Akira and was completely supervised by the teams at TRIGGER and Tsuburaya Productions.
The numerous parts surrounding Rikka add such a dreamy look to the figure and feature so many memories from the show. The floating look of it all really makes this figure so unique and breathtaking!
The careful painting of each part also adds so much vividness to the whole figure - check out the matte finish of her blue umbrella compared to the glossy look of her penny loafers. Of course, you’ll want to check out Rikka’s thicc thighs too! (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)
Rikka’s bright blue-pink eyes and gentle smile capture her personality perfectly. The way her hair sways out to the side makes it look like a gust of wind has just blown past, showing off how shiny her hair is. It’s so beautiful! ♥(ノ´∀`)
Perhaps one of the most detailed parts of the figure is the homemade computer Junk next to Rikka. The aged look of the hardware is captured both with unique textures (like that on the top of the monitor) and careful paintwork. The way the different parts of Junk also drift around really adds to the movement of the whole figure.
Mimicking Junk slightly is Rikka’s blue scarf, which billows out like wild tendrils behind her. The jagged bends of the scarf and even the chaotic movement of its fringe add such a liveliness to the whole scene. The Computer World effect parts piercing through the base in uneven lengths only build this up more! (人◕ω◕)
This Rikka figure is truly stunning and an absolute must for SSSS.Gridman fans! Pre-order her today and save 18% with Solaris Japan!
