Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ(῀ʚ̴̶̷́ .̫ ʚ̴̶̷̥̀ ῀)ノ”
Today’s Early Bird special is the next addition to Kotobukiya’s Bishoujo line, although this isn’t her first rodeo. It’s femme fatale Poison Ivy from DC Comics’ Batman!
Of course, Poison Ivy’s new Bishoujo look was brought to life thanks to illustrator Shunya Yamashita!
The eco-terrorist has a much softer look than usual - her flushed cheeks and sultry eyes look almost dreamlike, which is a considerable contrast to the beast just next to her! (☉_☉)
Her beautiful crimson hair is decorated with flowers and leaves as it billows out around her in voluminous waves, almost mimicking the movement of the vines around her.
Poison Ivy’s green one-piece has also been recreated wonderfully with a number of different textures. While her outfit features a lot of leaves, the rough textures make her outfit look almost mossy, which contrasts nicely with her smooth legs! (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)
She’s also posed sitting atop a rather large vine belonging to one of her plant creatures. The trunk of the vine has been carefully sculpted with careful attention to detail. All of the notches and grooves really add a sense of age and body to the vine, with the painting of it adding another level of realism!
Emerging from one of the vines of the creature is an open-mouthed head, its fangs exposed. Its long slithering tongue only adds to its fearsome appearance. (;☉_☉)
Poison Ivy’s sharp claws are another reminder to not let her sweet looks fool you! (;╹⌓╹)
Fans of Batman and beautiful ladies won’t want to miss this new Bishoujo release! Pre-order her and save 17% with Solaris Japan!
“Making her return to the Kotobukiya Bishoujo lineup is none other than the seductive Poison Ivy from Batman! Sitting comfortably atop a ferocious horticultural horror, Poison Ivy has been reimagined with the perfect blend of mischief and allure. Her slight smile and dreamy eyes may make her look harmless, but don’t be fooled. Her sharp claws can do some damage, if her fanged monster doesn't ensnare you in its jaws first. Don’t get on this femme fatale’s bad side - add her to your collection today!”
