Today’s Early Bird special is Megumin from the recently released movie KonoSuba: Crimson Legend!
Instead of her usual outfit, Megumin is dressed in her school uniform from Red Prison, the magical academy of Crimson Demon Village!
Megumin is still wearing some of her familiar accessories, like her belt, gloves, boots, and witch hat. However, her red and gold tunic has been swapped for a pink collared shirt and pleated skirt, while her choker’s been replaced with a striped tie and magenta aiguillette. (・о・)
Another significant difference in Megumin’s outfit is her robe! The robe, from first glance, may not look too different from her standard cape, but check it out from behind! The billowing black cape is decorated in a colorful, halloween-esque pattern that matches with her outfit perfectly.
The detailing of Megumin’s outfit is also really spectacular. The fluttering of the robe’s fabric create such a dynamic sense of movement, but also lends the robe a certain heaviness that is missing from other parts of her outfit. ♡✧( ु•⌄• )
The wrinkling of her shirt and skirt are also quite vivid and detailed, but they really differ in shape and form from those of her robe. This kind of detailing makes Megumin look so realistic!
Megumin’s hair has also undergone a bit of a transformation - her normally dark
brown hair has a much deeper hue which fades into a light pink at the tips. The highlighting of her hair really makes it look so smooth and sleek!
One of the best parts of this figure, though, is Megumin’s big eyes and slight smile. Her eyes have been colored to be almost jewel-like, which contrasts nicely with her smile and playful pose. (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
