Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ(῀ʚ̴̶̷́ .̫ ʚ̴̶̷̥̀ ῀)ﾉ”
Today’s Early Bird special is the Joker from Batman!
He’s undergone quite a transformation, though, as he joins Kotobukiya’s Ikemen lineup! Just like with their Bishoujo line, Kotobukiya has recruited an illustrator, Ricken, to re-imagine Batman’s archenemy as an ikemen.
And while this reimagining of the Joker really changes his look, there are still a number of details that capture this iconic villain’s look. ψ(｀∇´)ψ
He’s dressed in his trademark purple pinstripe suit, complete with its prop flower, while his normally shaggy, green hair is now properly combed (although, like a proper ikemen, a few strands fall just over his face). (*＾∀ﾟ)ъ
He’s also posed clutching and angling his cane, which is topped with a silver jester head. The sculpting of his fingers gives his grip a graceful, yet firm look.
Hidden behind his back is also one of his Joker fish! Its bright, red lips are eerily pulled back in a wide smile, exposing its yellowing teeth. This added prop echoes the original Joker’s look, making for a nice contrast to his ikemen look!
Adding to his ikemen appeal, the Joker’s stance also helps give him a sophisticated appearance - the position of his legs and the arch of his shoulder really make him look elegant!
Of course, his face has undergone a transformation from its normally dark and disheveled look as well. He still shows his (very white!) teeth with a lipstick-lined grin and is ghostly pale, but his eyes, while still dark and ominous in appearance, have a more sharp and smoky look.
"Now I’m always smiling!"

“The archenemy of the Dark Knight undergoes a handsome makeover in this new Kotobukiya Ikemen release! He’s dressed in his recognizable purple suit and flashes a devilish grin, cane in one hand and Joker Fish in the other. His overall appearance, though, takes a much more sophisticated look with his green hair neatly combed and his features more sharp and chiseled. Add him to your Batman collection today!”
