Hitoyo-chan: The Wholesome Adventurer From Not So Wholesome Source Material!

Pre-order Hitoyo-chan Today!

Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ( ʚ̴̶̷  .̫ ʚ̴̶̷ )ノ” Japan is a country where creativity runs free and talent is rewarded. This is thanks in large part to the large doujinshi or self published/produced market that runs parallel to the anime and manga industry. In recent years, there have been a number of independently successful titles that have broken through to the mainstream industry.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime for example, started as a freely distributed doujinshi web novel which later won a light novel contest. Upon winning, it went from digital to physical, continued to gain support and became a manga until ultimately being granted the coveted privilege of the anime adaptation. Even smaller titles like Tawawa on Monday have gone from simple doujinshi works to the home screen. This is not at all uncommon and the figure industry draws from these sources too! However, the figure industry has a little more focus on those *ahem” adult only, R18 sources…...compared to the more mainstream anime industry. And this brings us to today's cutie, a hentai protagonist that can be cleverly disguised in your collection thanks to a SFW version!

Who is Hitoyo-chan?

As an original character, Hitoyo-chan might not be as well known outside of Japan. Hitoyo-chan was created by the illustrator Bonnie (ぼに~), and stars in her own adults only rated doujinshi series, Hitoyo-chans Suffering (一夜ちゃんの受難).In the series, Hitoyo-chan travels around a fantasy world with her older sister Yuna, and a demon girl named Akari. She is an accomplished adventurer who easily completes quests given to her by the guild but...
...due to her large and attractive features, she finds herself in precarious situations…
...which involves her being taken advantage of by random strangers, old men in the onsen and even goblins. This is one of those books that you don't read for the plot…
But, Bonnie has become a very popular illustrator and crafts art that can easily please the eyes. With Hitoyo-chan as their poster girl, it was only a matter of time for a figure to be produced!

An Adventure on Your Shelf!

This figure of Hitoyo-chan is a great SFW rendition by Union Creative International. They captured all of her charm and crafted a dynamic figure. Hitoyo-chan has the perfect expression to capture your heart as she brushes her hair away from her face. The small nose and mouth combined with the excellent painting of the blush, eyes and extra feminine eyelashes are definitely appropriate for a hentai character.
Bonnie's expertly created outfit for Hitoyo-chan also deserves to be highlighted. Bonnie is a fan of Pyra from Xenoblade and has drawn several illustrations of her.I think it is safe to say that there was some inspiration from Pyra in the outfit design of Hitoyo-chan along with a bit of shrine maiden. The long flowing sleeves add a bit of movement to the figure while adding to the charm of Hitoyo-chan. Her front covering and skirt are basically just there to cover the goods and don't provide much in the way of protection. The bow on the skirt is a nice added touch and the outfit does add to the overall allure of Hitoyo-chan.Again, coming from R18 material this is exactly what to expect. As an adventurer she does have a bit of armor and accessories. The small armor piece on her arm and large leg covering break up the visual enough to add interest. Hitoyo-chan's large sword is nicely sculpted behind her and adds depth. The base pulls the whole figure together nicely and puts it over the edge! The mossy skull behind her and the cobblestone path creates that fantasy feeling!
If you are digging Hitoyo-chan's vibe and are ok with more adult oriented figures, she has two more! There is a cast-off swimsuit version available for pre-order.
Or, if you prefer bunny girls, another cast-off figure of Hitoyo-chan should be releasing before the end of the year!
So, did this fair maiden steal your heart?
Thank you for reading!
Until next time…
