Pre-Order Loid and Anya Now!

Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ( ʚ̴̶̷ .̫ ʚ̴̶̷ )ノ”
It’s another beautiful day in the beautiful city of Berlint. You leisurely stroll down the stone paths, admiring the scenery. ( ˘ω˘ )

Birds chirp, people talk, laughter breaks somewhere in the distance, children play. One voice in particular makes your ears perk up: it’s a little girl, way too excited to be out with her dad on a simple errand.

“Ooting! Ooting!” the pink-haired girl exclaims, running circles around her elegant father, the epitome of a respectable Ostanian citizen.

Heh, they wish, right? (¬‿¬)

Today we’re taking a peek at this delightful 1/7 scale figure of Anya and Loid Forger by Good Smile Company! (ᴖ◡ᴖ)♪
Though the main Spy × Family duo may seem to be taking it easy today, we all know a spy’s work is never over, especially not the work of legendary spy Twilight.

Never seen him before? Then he’s lived up to his name. But let us briefly fill you in:
The peace between the two countries of Ostania and Westalis hangs by a thread. Westalis Intelligence agent and master of disguises codenamed Twilight was tasked with making sure it wouldn’t break. So, in order to better accomplish this mission, he goes undercover in Ostania and creates a whole new identity for himself, that of a respectable citizen and family man named Loid Forger. The “family” part is also a carefully created disguise.
The key to making this plan work is the academic success of his “daughter”, Anya. Unbeknownst to Loid, Anya has mind-reading powers, which she uses to the best of her ability to help him in his mission. However, because she’s only 6 years old, her abilities are limited by her understanding of the world. She may have superpowers, but she is just a child, after all. ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛. ) ╭ So, the series ends up being a fun blend of comedy, action and slice-of-life, with a good balance of spy antics and sweet family moments!
Previously, Loid and Anya had only been featured together in the puchirama series by Bandai Megahouse (which we featured in our YouTube channel!) These pocket-sized scenes are super funny, with iconic moments from the anime. They’re quite detailed and make clever use of perspective to portray those scenes in more depth. A great option if you’re just trying to get started with figure collecting. (๑・ω-)
But if you like the size, the level of detail and the quality of the scale figures, then read on, because this 1/7 scale figure is the first to feature Anya and Loid together in such a calm and casual setting. All with the great quality of Good Smile Company!

While the show is mostly about Loid and his mission, Anya is the focal point of both the series and of the best Spy × Family figures around! So, as always, Anya brings the life and the movement to this figure with her cheerful and carefree attitude. She wears a navy coat with fluffy details on the cuffs and pockets, and a cute pair of boots with little white ribbons!
Anya skips down the road with her little hand outstretched. Did she recognize someone? Or is she reaching for something interesting just ahead?
Following close behind is Loid, walking with his ever-elegant gait. He wears a trenchcoat over his signature green suit, and a matching hat. Loid’s hat is a removable piece, should the day call for a more casual attire. And we can also see more of his handsome face. (ᇴ‿ฺᇴ)
Loid smiles contentedly. But we know that placid, “proud father and upstanding citizen” look is just a cover for a mind that never stops seeking danger and opportunities. He is the master spy Twilight, after all.
He carries the groceries in a paper bag. Among the contents, a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread. I wonder if Anya’s favorite bakery finally took her idea and decided to make some crunchy bacon bread. I bet it would be a hit! Baking otakus out there, I beg of you, please make this a thing. Bakeries need to start selling crunchy bacon yesterday, it needs to become canon in this world too! 人 ´∀`)
The base is simple and well-done. The weathered stone pavers are but a detail, but they help set the vibe of Berlint.
One minor nitpick I have is the peg that holds Anya in place. I understand the effect of trying to capture Anya mid-air, but as it was done, I find it sticks out a bit much, and it might have been a better choice to just have her be stepping onto the stones, or to choose a different material for the plastic peg.

But readers might already be aware that I am always picky about the base. ʅ( ´◔౪◔)ʃ And no amount of base shortcomings is enough to diminish the cuteness, the warm and fuzzy feelings these candid family moments with the Forgers bring! After all, the best part of the whole Spy × Family series is exactly their family life, as strange as it may be at times.
This 1/7 scale figure of Anya and Loid Forger is scheduled to release at the end of May 2025. Pre-orders are currently open at our store! Like any good spy, you shouldn’t miss this opportunity!

Now, anyone watching/reading the Spy × Family series knows that things may be working up to a conflict between Loid and his “wife”, Yor Forger. And if you are team Yor, check out this beautiful 1/7 scale figure that GSC released earlier of Yor and Anya together! We have it available brand new at our store, as well as tons of super detailed Pop Up Parades and prize figures from the Spy × Family series. Check it out!
We hope you enjoyed this one!
Until next time! ヾ(^∇^)
