If you're a fan of Azur Lane, you already know that the game isn't just about strategic naval battles, it's just as much about the beautifully designed characters that bring the game to life. For those collectors who aren't fans of the mobile game, you have probably seen the steady stream of numerous figures being released. With well over 500 figures available from the series, whether you are a fan or figure enthusiast, some gems might have passed you by. We have put together a list of some of the best Azur Lane figures that would be great for any collection. Let's set sail into the world of Azur Lane and find the perfect addition to your collection!

A Familiar Loading Screen

Loading screens are a necessary evil for games but Azur Lane tries to make them fun. Showcasing the characters in fun, playful and ecchi situations, we get to see another side. One such loading screen which has been a fan favorite is of the twin sisters Ninghai and Pinghai.
The scene is calligraphy practice gone wrong. Or maybe right? How the two happened to become entwined is up to your imagination but Hobby Max has done the figure version justice.
The design strikes the right balance of ecchi allure and keeping things tasteful. There is nothing outright explicit but the sculpt is suggestive. By hugging their outfits snuggly against their bodies, Hobby Max carefully reveals their body lines.
The splashes of paint and facial expressions in addition to the manjuu help create a fun atmosphere. This figure is currently available for pre-order and should be released in the next few months.

From Battleship to Bunny Girl

Since New Jersey was added to the game she has been ranked among the top in terms of popularity. As a top-tier battleship with great offensive abilities she is added to many lineups.
New Jersey’s personality is confident and strong, matching her formidable combat prowess. Her design is also visually striking, combining elements of traditional naval uniforms with modern, stylish touches. Her outfit and overall look are both elegant and powerful, with a hint of kemomimi.
This makes the addition of some bunny ears very easy. With bunny girl figure pro FREEing in charge, we get a fantastic figure for those bunny enthusiasts. They recreated New Jersey’s in game skin with impeccable detail.
As with most of their figures she is pretty big at 1/4 scale. The pose is dynamic and striking, expertly wrapped around the pole. Her mesmerizing long blue hair flows elegantly around her, accentuating her captivating presence.
New Jersey’s outfit is a sleek, form-fitting leotard nicely complemented by alluring fishnet tights. New Jersey exudes confidence and glamor in both personality and style. The glossy finish used on her top adds to the figure by catching the light and your eye.
We have her available for purchase and she is a great addition to any bunny girl themed collection!

Summer Time Bunny

The Tortoise and the Hare teaches us that slow and steady wins the race. However, if you ask the bunny, speed is everything. Since Shimakaze was one of the fastest destroyers of her time, the original ship girl game, Kantai Collection, gave her some bunny motifs with her headband. Shimakaze went on to be one of the most recognizable and infamous characters from the series and when Azur Lane wanted to add her, they continued the bunny tradition.
Being a literal bunny girl, she has a pair of nice bunny ears with long hair matching the color of fur. Elegant has taken her in game summer skin and transformed it into something truly amazing.
The DX edition adds a lot to the base creating a fun summer scene at the beach. This could easily be the centerpiece for a collection of beach and bikini figures.
Shimakaze is a stark contrast from New Jersey. There are no twin mountains, no big, juicy assets, only modesty. Her charm comes from her adorable facial expression and slender legs.
Even though she is holding a rather large katana, there is no sense of danger. The summer scene removes any threat and instead makes for an inviting atmosphere. With the island breeze at the center, all that is missing is a nice cool drink to quench your thirst.
With an expected release date at the end of January 2025, she should help you get through the winter, waiting for those warmer days. If you prefer a more compact figure to add to your collection, the standard edition simplifies the visual and focuses just on Shimakaze.

Race Queen Duo

Atago and Takao were sister ships and that is reflected in their similar character designs and frequent portrayal together. Itasha and racing have become commonly used marketing tactics to promote anime and game IPs. Azur Lane, like many others have gone for a combo of real life itasha and in game costumes.
On the official Azur Lane itashas that make appearances at events, you can find several of the girls in their racing skins. There are also several figure versions available if you have a favorite.
Atago and Takao have been beautifully sculpted dressed in their race queen costumes complete with a very happy manjuu. The little mascot squeezing in between them also adds to the super-cute vibe of this figure.
Atago and Takao strike a lovely pose as they cuddle up to each other and wink towards the viewer.
Atago, with her playful cat ears and soft expression, gets a bit more revealing outfit that highlights her curvaceous figure. Takao, with her poised and confident demeanor, mirrors Atago's outfit but with enough difference to have its own unique appeal. Both figures feature long, flowing hair that is sculpted to keep the goods in sight.
If you prefer to only have one, they are also available individually. The solo version of Atago and Takao is almost exactly the same but they lose the wink.

The Allure of White Pantyhose and More Bunny Girls

Azur Lane's personification of the French Navy large destroyer Le Malin isn’t so large. Le Malin’s character design features her as a petite girl with blue eyes, long white hair and a white outfit with an underboob cutout, white pantyhose combo!
Le Malin is a lazy character, always wanting to sleep. There is a dichotomy with her way of speaking being full of elegance and grace, while simultaneously slacking off and wishing she could just relax. She is a very easy character to like and very amusing as she constantly refers to herself using magnificent names that she has fabricated on her own.
Mimeyoi has a figure of her Listless Lapin in game skin available for pre-order, set to release towards the middle of next year. Azur Lane has a thing for kemomimi and bunny girl aesthetics but you can’t really complain since they make it work. Le Malin is in a charming, delicate pose, sitting gracefully with an intriguing expression.
Her soft pastel-colored outfit, complete with fluffy ears and a tail, highlights her ethereal beauty and playful nature. The intricate braids of her flowing silver hair and her gentle, seductive expression capture a sense of serene elegance.
The intricate details in the sculpt are definitely a highlight of the piece. From the hair, to the muscle definition and skin folds, there is a lifelike portrayal. No matter where your eye drifts, there is something to be admired.
Accompanying Le Malin is an adorable manjuu, happily acting as a pillow. Maybe the admiral isn’t actually the self insert character and the manjuu are secretly the MC. This is a magnificent bishoujo figure that is very tastefully done.

Teach That Mesugaki a Lesson

Mesugaki is a relatively niche character archetype that you just have to love to hate. If you are familiar with the phrase, welcome fellow degenerate. If you need to look it up… probably don't.

When Bache was released, she had some controversy surrounding her. Designed with fan service in mind and acting like a spoiled bad girl who is proud of it, lewds were basically guaranteed. Bache thinks of herself as a fashionista, and is well aware that her appearance may make others uncomfortable. She has a fascination with money, and her choice in clothing may be to help her earn some.

One of Mimeyoi’s first figures was Bache and the quality was truly top notch. Their figure was a perfect recreation of this mesugaki gyaru. Bache’s long blonde and messy twintails have a very detailed sculpt and fantastic paint job. Her smug expression is masterfully captured and you can tell that this brat is simultaneously making fun of you and asking for money.

Bache’s entire outfit has great attention to detail with many small accessories included. Shading was utilized well to add depth and while she is not cast-off, it sits on her frame in a layered fashion.

Mimeyoi used a few different paint types to give the different materials realistic looks. Her jacket is glossy and has a nice sheen. The metal ship parts are matte and look a bit more rugged.

Mesugaki figures that aren't NSFW and adults only are hard to come by. If you like the bratty, punkish archetype or just want a very well made figure this is a fantastic pick up.

A Work of Art in Figure Form

Collectors seek high quality scales because they are jaw dropping to look at. Intricate details, dynamic poses full of movement, a fleeting moment is forever captured in PVC. Apex Innovation’s new Amagi figure does all that plus more.

Draped in regal fabrics, Amagi’s graceful pose radiates both elegance and strength. The design grabs attention but is not overly busy making her a great potential centerpiece for any collection.

Amagi’s flowing hair and long garments meld together to give an ethereal presence. The serene visual, perfectly complements her poised demeanor, capturing the essence of tranquility.

Using a combination of translucent parts and textured sculpt, the fabric has a lifelike appearance. Like the previous figures shown, this one too has well done shading really bringing the figure to life.

There is also a deluxe version which comes with an acrylic case to both protect Amagi and add to the overall visual!
