This was my first Bandai figure, and I was a little disappointed at first, but it was cheap, so I can't really complain. Nami has adequately detailed features for a small economy figure. Her face is painted cleanly as well as the details on her clothes and gear. The skin has an unfortunate hard shiny plastic look (I usually buy more expensive figures that have nicer skin) but I guess it's appropriate for a cheaper figure. One thing I was really surprised at is that her legs are about 2/3 of her height (about 4" long legs and 2" from hips to top of head - overall about 6" tall), so she's a little disproportionate, but... anime character, right? They do that, so if you think of the figure as replicating dynamic shots from the cartoon and not meant to be a scale figure, it's OK. I was in particularly disappointed in the prominent way they stamped "BSP VIETNAM" on the back of her clothes... I think it would have been nicer to discretely hide it on lets say... the bottom of the base? I don't really want to look at that on my figures, but at least it's on the back side of the figure. Nami's tattoo on her left arm is painted nicely which helps make up for the slightly distracting mold lines still somewhat visible in the plastic. The box art and design were nice, and overall, I am happy with the figure (it was cheap), but I probably won't be buying a lot of the cheaper Bandai Spirits figures though since I like nice and I like quality ... which this figure isn't really geared towards.
