If you're a fan of the anime's first three season's art style like I am, you may find this version of Rias more to your liking.

Her hair in this version is darker, which is more akin to how it's described in episode 1 ("red like blood"), whereas the black version is like season 4 (more faithful to the manga/light novel). What I wasn't expecting was how vibrant the paint job is on her outfit - the bodice actually has the appearance of a semigloss paint. As a result of this & the darker shade of red for her hair, Rias' complexion comes off as paler than on the other version. Overall it's a great figure that I'm glad to have added to my collection.

I also can't wait to try putting her in a display with an overhead light, as the base for this figure has a dulled mirror-like finish to it. The finish may be clear enough to reflect enough light towards her bodice to really make it -pop-!

Just as a heads-up: this one qualifies as what's called a "cast-off" in that some of the clothing can be removed to show "naughty bits" - specifically, the cups to her bodice. I wasn't aware of this until I lifted her out of the molded plastic carrier & the cups (thankfully as a single piece) just landed on the desk in front of me. You need to be careful when trying to place the piece -just- right to get it to "hang" off her nipples but it'll be worth the effort when you have someone over whose not into figures & you aren't having to hide her or explain why she's got the gals hanging out.
