Young girls piloting giant robots… sounds like your standard anime. However this trailblazer is quite different. Over its 6 excellent episodes, the viewer is definitely taken on a ride which is both thrilling and emotionally draining. Expect to have some feels while watching this series.
It’s worth noting that it is the directional debut of Anno, the guy behind Neon Genesis. If you’re an Evangelion fan, this will be up your street.
