Ascension is basically a transition betweent he classic gameplay of the third main game and the more modern style of the fourth main game (GoW 2018). The story is alright, the graphics are wonderful, but the overall direction of the game is lacking. The multiplayer is fun, sure, but I'm not sure it is necessary. It's a decent game in the franchise, but not the best.
