As far as I know, this is more than likely a figure from a Chinese or Korean company and they're starting off on the right foot. This action figure and some of the others that I own from the same company are incredible. The design is wonderful and the paint is very clean and well done. I especially like the honeycomb pattern stockings they gave her. This figure is a variant of one of their other figures but is vastly different enough that they are two separate characters. The figure's quality is on par with that of Figmas and Figuarts but she is slightly bigger than some of them.
One of my worries when it comes to action figures from companies outside of Japan are joints. But the joints on this figure are almost perfect. Not only do they move smoothly but the figure has a very wide range of motion making it flexible and fun to pose. I own many Figmas and Figuarts but almost none of them are capable of doing a perfect splits like this figure can. This figure also has posable eyes like Amazing Yamaguchi figures which is always a fun design choice for me.
She comes with a hefty amount of accessories as well. She has a large stand base that also doubles as storage for her smaller accessories like her alternate face plates and hands. She has some comb shaped shields that are made of a translucent, purple plastic and they come with their own stand arms. Her best accessory is her weapon which is a spear made of die-cast metal. The main body is a simple spear made of metal and separate pieces to personalize it however you see fit. It can be a spear, a scythe or a crossbow.
I would consider her insect abdomen an accessory since it is removable and - unlike her wings that are also removable - there are times I prefer to display her without it. This abdomen does have a hole underneath it so you can use a stand to display and pose her. The thing does add a significant amount of weight to the figure to the point that the stand arm does bend down.
If you collect original characters or action figures, you need to have this figure on your radar. This figure is amazing and I'm impressed by the quality. You should also be on the lookout for any future releases from Snail Shell Studio. They mainly have animal themed female characters and have teased a new lineup of them. If you're hesitant because this is a company you've never heard of or seen reviews for their figures trust me when I say this figure and the others I own from them are incredible.
