Hide your chocolate mooncakes…mischief is en route to our store! 三三ᕕ( ⌓̈ )ᕗ
Riot continues to summon our favorite champions to this world with the help of renowned figure makers. Last year, we were super excited to tell you about the release of other champions from their roster: charming vixen Ahri, bright and scholarly Lux, stoic and mysterious Ashe, and explosion specialist Jinx…who has probably transcended the game by now, thanks to her prominent role in Netflix’s Arcane series.
(Pre-orders for all four of these beauties are currently open; they’re scheduled to release in the summer/fall of 2022, so don’t wait too long!) (๑・ω-)
Seriously, Riot needs to give us more Chibi Champs in Teamfight Tactics. Or Good Smile Company needs to step in and make Nendoroids of the Chibi Champs. My wallet will suffer either way… (⌬̀⌄⌬́)
Like the Targonian aspects of old, Good Smile Company also noticed Zoe and deemed her worthy of having her own figure. After the success of the Arcane series and its tragically chaotic protagonist Jinx, we can officially say that quirky is definitely happening! (∩♡°ω°)⊃
However, unlike Jinx, Zoe is the personification of mischief without malice. Her centuries in ascendance preserved the joyful and irreverent child that she was. As the Aspect of Twilight, she skips happily along the line dividing light from darkness, loving butterflies, unicorns, messing with mortals, and watching the ends of finite realities…like many among us. So relatable! 🌈٩( ๑╹ ꇴ╹)۶Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ
In the canon version, that is.
As a Star Guardian, the dark and chaotic side of her personality comes out, and she shows she can be cunning, manipulative, and sadistically gleeful. As we’ve seen in the animated trailer “Light and Shadow,” she doesn’t hold back in order to achieve her goal of capturing the Chosen of the First Star! (๑ ÒωÓ๑)
Zoe steps out of a checkered vortex woven from the fabric of reality, her long hair flowing towards her prey like a jellyfish going in for the kill. Take a moment to admire the intensity of the colors; for such a dark-themed figure, the palette is very adept at giving an illusion of luminescence! ✨
I seriously didn’t even notice where her hair ends and when her Paddle Star starts. GSC does a great job of recreating the effect from the game, in which she draws the attack from the cosmic dust in her hair. (っ・ω・)っ≡≡≡≡≡≡☆
As you can see, in order to keep her mane in pristine condition, a rod helps prop it up. And it’s actually not too conspicuous; Zoe’s colors are so bright that they easily overwhelm it.
Let’s not forget Ran, Zoe’s tentacled familiar. He goes wherever she does, tainting everything it touches with chaos and mischief. Don’t be fooled by this lovable companion’s short and chubby arms; they can reach to the ends of the universe (੭ु ຶਊ ຶ)੭ु⁾⁾
Speaking of underlings, Xayah and Rakan are also scheduled to release in May 2023, but in their standard skins, not as corrupted Star Guardians. Which I don’t mind, because those two are hot, no matter the design! (๑♥ᴗ♥)
Pre-orders for them are open now and, befittingly, they’re on an Early Bird promotion as well. Order soon to save up to 9% on your purchase!
As for Zoe, she is scheduled to release in July 2023. Her Early Bird was almost lost in the gravitational pull of her Portal Jump, but it made it here to tell you that if you order soon, you can save up to 18%! So pre-order today, before the twilight corruption gets to it. (⁎′ꃪ‵)˞ᵋᵌ
Messengers can be unreliable, either because they encounter space-time anomalies in their travels or because they’re just naturally air-headed, bubbly tweens.
