Now that I've gotten more into figure collecting, and after perusing many Mai figures, I don't think a bunch of them get her facial proportions accurate enough. Or they make her expression look too hollow and vacant. So I pass on those. This Coreful version is pretty good for my preferences there. I also really like the turquoise clothing choice. It's a color that makes me think of innocent romance. And the clear parts that ebb through add an interesting touch. For a budget figure, there's not much to complain about. Solid overall.
