Good Smile Company proves itself worthy of the name once again by releasing these two. Rivals at first, then good friends united by a common hobby, Megumi and Eriri are polar opposites when it comes to personality. But that still doesn’t make it any easier to choose between them!

I used to be a skeptic about love at first sight, dismissing it as a cheap way to introduce romance to some novel you find in a discount bin.

In this gorgeous piece, Megumi jumps out of the canvas, re-enacting the fateful encounter of a special spring day. The colors are soft like a fresh morning. She is gentle, so gentle on the eyes that she blends into the scenery, becoming a flower herself.
The wind stirs up a shower of blossoms all around her as she jumps from the canvas, from 2D to 3D. An unsuspecting Tomoya may be waiting, at the bottom of the hill, for a white beret to fly past him and trigger the event that changed their lives!
Nestled in the cherry tree branches is a painting of her future self, lost in thought, or maybe holding back tears. After all, we come to learn that this sweet smile holds so much strength behind it!

The details of this figure are simply amazing: the smooth look of her clothes and her skin contrast with the rough texture of the canvas. Scattered cherry blossom petals swirl at her feet. The wind runs through her hair, which gradually becomes translucent towards the tips.
This is the fleeting but powerful second that sparked the creation of a successful dating sim! It’s the glorious fateful moment that foreshadows the true ending, the “happy ever after” we hunger for in these types of games!

Eriri keeps warm and fashionable, because those two don’t have to be mutually exclusive! A blue dress over a black long sleeve shirt is topped by a pink dotera jacket. Wine red socks seal the look, showing off her mastery in color coordination!
The bright colors of her outfit contrast beautifully with the soft green gradient of the canvas below, reminiscent of the grass under the snow. Inspiration is there, you just need to find the flame that will melt the ice away! And what better place than the location of your fondest childhood memories?
