MegaHouse releases yet another G.E.M. in the Pokemon series! This time, it’s a fun and relaxing figure. After the spoooooky release back in July, ༼ つ ❍_❍ ༽つ now comes an idyllic scene featuring Snorlax, Ash, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Bulbasaur and Squirtle.
Ah… why am I so… *yawns* （◎´〇｀◎）tired?
This figure is slightly reminiscent of another figure in the same series, this one with all the Eeveelutions. From the action-packed to the fun and dynamic, MegaHouse invites us to take a break in some hidden, cozy grove in the Kanto region.
Spirit of the forest vibes, anyone?
Thanks to Jigglypuff’s lullaby, everyone fell neatly into a most iconic pose, resembling very much like one famous Miyazaki’s classic...
However, despite the laid-back energy this figure exudes, it is still brimming with potential action! I mean, look at Jigglypuff’s pout! This is like one of those pictures taken a second before disaster. It looks like it is about to unscrew the microphone cap from its marker and bring down inky justice on the ungrateful audience. (⊙_☉)
Before everyone gets permanent glasses and sharpie mustaches, let’s appreciate their sleep… in a non-creepy way. (；ﾟェﾟ；)
Look at the sheer, carefree bliss on that precious face! I bet he’s dreaming of a ketchup feast!
There is a different story to each angle of the figure, and it’s perfect in all directions. We have Pikachu’s dreamy drool on one side...
… and Ash’s carefree sprawl right beneath him. He’s also holding Pikachu close to his heart. I need someone to hold me like that! (◕Д◕ )
His free arm is stretched out on Snorlax’s cushy belly. It goes up and down as the pokemon breathes, rocking them to the most reinvigorating catnap of their lives. Squirtle, too, sprawls out between Snorlax’s feet, belly down on flattened, fragrant grass. Let’s take a moment to admire the vegetation too: it’s made to look almost like fur, like a green sheepskin rug.
His expression is also adorable: a sleeping face that rivals Pikachu’s! I can’t pick which one is the best, honestly.
Bulbasaur snuggles up on Snorlax’s right side. Every side of the humongous pokemon is used, every warm and cozy nook and cranny is taken up for optimal afternoon napping. Well, except for the left side, where Jigglypuff is, but that one will be vacant in just a second. Maybe I will slot myself between that rock and the pokemon for a nap too.
A tree stump doesn’t look like the most comfortable pillow… but when your entire body is of a mattress-type softness, it probably wouldn’t bother you. That would explain how Snorlax is able to sleep anywhere. Also, check out the moss creeping up the roots and stuck to Jigglypuff’s rock. My hands just want to stroke it! (✧u✧)
Even from this angle, you can sense the frustration boiling inside Jigglypuff’s marshmallow insides. It is about to go on a defacing rampage before storming away into the bushes!
Everything about this figure makes me smile… and yawn. It is so skilled in its depiction of a funny yet relaxing moment that it almost has a healing effect. Can you feel the worries of the day melting away when you look at it? Like the sweet fall into deep sleep ( ˘▾˘)~
