Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ( ʚ̴̶̷ .̫ ʚ̴̶̷ )ノ”
Picture this: it’s a warm spring afternoon and everyone at school is busy with their club activities. You can hear your fellow classmates practicing on the track; louder than all those voices is Yotsuba’s, who was most likely flying low ahead of her peers.
But Yotsuba is not the one you came for. Wandering the empty school halls, you’re looking for a certain loner…
And in the homeroom you find her. Miku is sitting on a desk, shoes off, trying her hardest to be bold and rebellious (but only when no one’s looking, because it’s too embarrassing). (⁄ ⁄>⁄ _ ⁄<⁄ ⁄)
Just because Miku is low-maintenance doesn’t mean that Kotobukiya neglected any detail in recreating her look for this figure. We all know how much more difficult it is to reproduce a messy, woke-up-like-this look! Her sister Nino may make heads turn (or bow, depending on what kind of interaction you had (´∀`;) ), but Miku’s natural beauty makes us smile.
Her hair, as dull as it may be, was sculpted faithfully, strand by strand! The shading on it shows where it kinks under the weight of her headphones. Take better care of your locks, Miku-chan…
Blue is the color of all that she wears… She wears a baby blue cardigan (made of cashmere, I bet ($_$) ) over her uniform. Simple and easy on the eyes, just like the afternoon sky outside.
Keeping with her demure attire, Miku is the only one who wears tights. While very modest, it also allows her more freedom of movement! That is why she can hug her knees in a mini-skirt and rock the pose in a way only Miku can: hinting at boldness but with a good dose of shyness, for charm. Her tights too seem to want to show a little more in some places: the… softer parts of her legs are highlighted to simulate the sheerness of nylon.
And the sculpt also reproduces the folds around the ankle! From behind you can see where it bunches up behind the knee. When you take her shoes off, you can also see where the tights stretch between her toes.
She’s not fixed to the desk, by the way. Like her sister Ichika, she has a flat bottom (the figure, not *her*, of course), which allows you to sit her on other surfaces. And her shoes come off as well, for those who would like to see the craft that went into sculpting hard plastic into sheer fabric…
And other things. Hehe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Unlike Ichika, however, she seems to be the easiest to pose. It actually looks like she could sit snugly in the palm of your hand: a dear waifu, to have and to hold!
Sulking may be Miku’s idle face, but there is sweetness within that can be drawn out if you manage to connect with her. Either by appreciating Japanese history or a good sip of matcha soda in quiet contemplation, if you can make her smile, you need nothing else. (˘ ◡˘)
The set comes with a smiling face plate, for those sublime moments in the solitude of empty school halls.
The best (IMHO) Nakano quintuplet will be arriving at our store at the end of April!
Until next time! ヾ(^∇^)
