Another champion is summoned to the rift: the blinding light of the Lady of Luminosity descends upon us! (☆ω☆*）
It is Good Smile Company’s turn to bring one of League of Legends’ champions
to life; Riot does well to trust the experts with the task, because they don’t disappoint!
Earlier this year we heard the announcement of K/DA’s leader Ahri (have you pre-ordered? There’s still time!). Then came chaos incarnate Jinx (more on her later (๑・ω-) ) by Myethos and finally, a posable figure of warmother Ashe! Pre-orders are open for all three in our store, so go check them out!
GSC excels at cheerful figures, so it’s fitting they’re in charge of none other than the sunny and versatile Lux. She comes in her fan-favorite Elementalist skin with all elements at her disposal!
GSC did an awesome job of giving her some anime flair to better fit in the world of figures. Her bright eyes and her expression retain the same confident expression she has in the official artwork. ( ｡+ ･`ω･´)
With all the elements on display, each angle shows a different side of her power. It flows unrestrained, unafraid. Fire, water, air, nature — all are at her disposal with a flourish of her staff.
This is a glimpse into a future where Demacia embraces magic again and rallies behind the talented daughter of house Crownsguard! (ﾒ｀ﾛ´)/
Because should someone who excels at magic be made to support from behind the scenes, all while her boisterous brother gets all the glory? Absolutely not. When you can achieve it too, you should reach for it. As Lux says it herself, a prism has no problem splitting its focus. ( ๑ÒωÓ๑ )
As the light at the center of it all, her clothes are just as resplendent as her power! GSC spared no gold paint to make her glint in the sun. The translucent effect of her veil blends in with the water and fire, adding to the dynamic feel of the figure. There is lots of action and lots of power portrayed in this one, but it’s all presented with beautifully fluid movements.
Light casts shadows. While not portrayed in the figure, we know the darkness Lux can become, if she looks within herself with a fearless mind. (－－）
The Lady of Luminosity is scheduled to release in November 2022, but pre-orders are open right now! Considering how busy next year seems with all the awesome League of Legends figures being released, it might be a good idea to plan ahead. Summer will already be filled with other champions of the roster!
