Today’s Early Bird special is a 1/8th scale figure of Jibril, from the movie No Game No Life: Zero!
JIbril’s viciousness and power during the Great War have been perfectly captured in this new figure release. You can see the determination in Jibril’s expression, her brows furrowed and her mouth open in a slight, yet sinister grin. It’s hard to see from afar, but her pupils are also cross-shaped, meaning she’s really focused on where she’s swinging her scythe! (；☉_☉)
When you compare Jibril’s size to her scythe, you can get an even better understanding of just how powerful she really is! Another amazing feature of this figure is the sense of movement. From the positioning of her body to the billowing of her hair, every detail really helps elevate the sense of action in the scene. (ง ˙o˙)ว
Of course, Jibril’s hair is especially noteworthy as the color gradient immediately grabs your attention. The gradation, from pink to lilac to yellow to baby blue, really helps to enunciate Jibril’s speed with its flurry of different colors!!! ू(ʚ̴̶̷́ .̠ ʚ̴̶̷̥̀ ू)
From behind, you can get a better view of her wings. They sprout out just above her hips and have a distinct metallic finish, adding a nice contrast to her pale skin and pastel hair. The color gradation of her wings also mimics her hair, but in much deeper tones. You can also see how her left leg juts out - it’s hard to tell if she’s mid-pounce or if she is steadying herself as she soars through the air, ready to swing down her scythe! =͟͟͞͞( ꒪д꒪ ;)))
Last, but certainly not least is Jibril’s base! The colors of the terrain really add another layer of dimension to this figure. Peeking out from the almost scorched earth are vibrant reds and blues, which are a beautiful contrast to the more earthy tones of the jagged rocks.
