There’s not much we can say about this one. There’s the beautiful layering of her white dress, the forward curve of her outspread wings, and her stunning, golden eyes peeking out from beneath the flutter of her luscious locks. Oh, and the amount of dynamic movement with the billowing of her gown, the slump of her cobweb necklace as it embraces her slender shoulders and waist, all while a river of hair and fabric billow behind her and beg for our attention.
Okay, maybe there’s a lot we can say about this one, but we just can’t help it. Ainz may be the exception, but it’s just impossible not to fall in love with this stunning demoness.
Yae Sakura doesn’t get the figure treatment too often, but when she does, boy is it a knockout. When we first saw APEX’s Mandarin Gown Sakura figure, we were floored. One of the most impressive features of that release was the incredible scenery that emulated and accentuated Sakura’s beauty.
Now APEX’s Dream Raiment figure follows a similar path by not just bringing Sakura’s Dream Raiment costume to life, but by adorning her look with a scene of matrimonial majesty. Heavily dressed in draping fabrics and spotted with colorful roses and gold accents, Sakura’s surroundings look like an absolute dream while the bride herself sits and looks on with care and grace from her celestial swing – a ceremony almost as beautiful as the newly-wed. A figure so popular, it’s been re-released four times on top of getting 2 different paint variation releases. I mean, it is Rias in a bunny suit…with real fishnet tights…‘nuff said?
Clear some space in your grandma’s room – Okayu is here to snack and stream courtesy of Pop Up Parade! Okay, maybe she’s not here to do those things, but she does throw down a cute pose? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Okayu’s stylish get up is so nicely done, although we might love her snaggletooth and vivid purple eyes the most. This Pop Up Parade release has done a lovely job of recreating this laid-back prankster, although there is one downside: there’s no grandma included to snore in the background. Oh well! 🍙
Alter never disappoints with the quality of their figures. Even if the figure isn’t the most complex in design, the details and level of attention always blow us away.
Tokisaki is a perfect example of this: her Astral Dress has been created in figure form so many times before, but Alter’s attention to detail is seriously mind blowing. The lighter pieces of fabric are made with translucent parts to add a feathery softness to the dress, while the bright orange has been painted with a pearlescent shine to emulate an otherworldly glow. Her two posing options – a hand either coyly posed by her mouth or brandishing her pistol – add another layer to this figure to elevate it beyond just any Tokisaki release.
