It's hard to believe that KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Has been going for over 10 years. The series started as a web novel in 2012 and was published as a light novel series by Kadokawa Shoten a year later. A few years after that in 2016 fans got to see them animated and since, popularity has only grown!
While the spinoff anime, KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! which focused on Megumin might have been a bit underwhelming, season 3 brought the whole crew back together in the spring 2024 season. With the success, collaborations, merchandise and figures have come rolling in.

They might be a teeny bit late but Kadokawa is celebrating the 10th anniversary of KonoSuba by releasing some special edition figures of our beloved characters light novel design. Aqua, Megumin, Darkness and Yunyun are all available for pre-order with release dates slated for the first half of 2025.

Aqua: Light Novel 10th Anniversary Ver.

Aqua is given a belly dancer-like costume adorned with plenty of decorations in her 10th anniversary design. It may seem initially like an odd choice but Aqua is described as possessing beauty that no human could match. Her light blue hair and eyes and slim figure lend itself to the flowing nature of a dancer.The figure captures a dynamic pose, dazzling eyes, and cute smile. Since aqua is the Goddess of water full of fun party tricks, the water dancing around her is a nice added touch. The intricate gold accents to her azure outfit help highlight her radiant beauty.

Flowing ribbons and translucent fabric elements enhance the sense of motion, playfully wrapping around her. Compared to her anime design, Aqua has a slightly more mature look in the light novel illustrations. The anime may at times exaggerate certain features for comedic effect but the light novel added more emphasis to her transcendent beauty.

This figure perfectly encapsulates Aqua’s vibrant personality and divine elegance. It has just the right mix of chaos and charm perfect for a Goddess that doubles as a drunkard.

Darkness: Light Novel 10th Anniversary Ver.

In the light novel illustrations Darkness has a softer, younger look compared to her anime counterpart making her appear to be a bit more childish. The anime may play up her status as the masochistic pervert but in season 3 we see more depth in the character. As a noble, appearances are important and there are obligations which the typical adventurer doesn't have to attend to.

This figure does an excellent job showcasing Darkness's beauty and the series' joyful spirit.

Megumin: Light Novel 10th Anniversary Ver.

The 10th anniversary figure of Megumin is a great tribute to the beloved explosion magic user. The figure captures Megumin in a dynamic pose, getting ready to unleash her signature spell! Clad in a wine-red dress adorned with intricate laces and belts, Megumin's confident expression and the swirling magic effects around her truly bring the character to life.

Megumin's outfit is a departure from her usual adventuring attire, featuring a more elegant and detailed design. The dress is complemented by Chomusuke, who is excited to get in on the action. Her outfit still contains the same chuunibyou vibes we come to expect!

The level of detail ensures that every aspect of Megumin's character is captured. The magical effects swirling around her towards the base look pretty decent. Using semi-transparent parts for her magical elements should be familiar with figure collectors as many Megumin figures utilize similar designs.

The figure encapsulates the essence of Megumin's explosive personality and her role as the ultimate wielder of explosion magic. The alternative outfit fits the character and adds some variety to collections.

Yunyun: Light Novel 10th Anniversary Ver.
