This next addition to MegaHouse’s G.E.M. EX series shows off some of Pokemon’s most memorable Ghost types. Jumping out front and center is Gen 1 Ghost-type Gengar, who’s maniacal expression and stuck-out tongue make quite an impression!
Its tongue has also been painted with a glossy finish to give it a more realistic appearance. It really does make a nice contrast to the more matte coloring of its body!
To Gengar’s right is the Unovan Ghost/Fire Pokemon Chandelure, who’s chandelier-esque appearance and blank expression make it both cute and spooky! The flames that emanate from its arms and head have been recreated with translucent effect parts to give it a unique look.
To Gengar’s left is Banette, a sinister looking Pokemon from the Hoenn region. Every detail of this Pokemon’s appearance has been carefully recreated, from its uniquely shaped eyes to its zigzagging tendril. Of course, it wouldn’t be Banette without its yellow zippered mouth, which is said to hide a terribly powerful force behind it!
Floating above them is the small Gen II Pokemon Misdreavus. This Pokemon looks quite cute and feminine with its long flowing hair, skirt-like body and necklace, but don’t let its sweet looks fool you! Misdreavus get their names from their mischievous nature - they love nothing more than giving people a good fright.
Lastly, nestled just beneath the crowd is Mimikyu, one of Pokemon’s newer additions from the Alola region. Said to have a cursed appearance, Mimikyu hides under a costume of Pikachu in hopes of making more friends. Mimikyu doesn’t always hide itself entirely - upset it enough and its shadowy claws will emerge from its costume, ready to strike!
Serving as the perfect backdrop for these Pokemon is a cobblestone sidewalk surrounded by plush grass. Gnarled branches sprout out around them, adding even more volume to the figure! Columns of smoke and shadowy clouds also linger in the background, making the perfect eerie ambiance.
