Friendly and playful

Here we have the best scale figure of Aki, from Wing, and I can only say that it is another brilliant work of sculpture and painting that cannot be missing in your collection (especially if you are a fan of the manga/anime series).

All the clothing is canon, and we can see some great shading work on the coat, tights, boots, and sleeping bag. The hair has the flattest finish of the entire figure (in line with the rest of the set), but although it's simple, it's quite successful. Ponytails are the most fragile part of the figure, but they do have some flexibility, so if they're not pushed too hard, they shouldn't break easily.

One point against the design (totally subjective) is its base, which again is terribly large, like Nadeshiko's. I don't understand why they decided to make such a big base for a figure that can stand on its own. The only thing that occurs to me is to mark a certain distance with other exposed figures, to protect the outstretched arm.

Nailed it

Just looks so good. The expression, the stance, the swedish torch. It's Oogaki. Looks great next to the rest of the Laid-Back Camp Wing collection.
Now they should make Toba-sensei.
