In my opinion, this is the definitive "default" KAITO Nendoroid. Unlike the themed Cantarella version, the 2.0 release captures KAITO's classic V3 design with a cleaner sculpt, improved articulation, and the updated Nendoroid 2.0 body. It's simple, charming, and exactly what most KAITO fans have been waiting for.

Figure looks great, just as advertised, really like the deep blue color they used for the hair. Theres a variety of poses you can put him in despite the limited accessories and extra parts.
I decided to give it 4 stars, but if I could it would be more of a 4.5 for these reasons:
- Tiny paint errors, like some blue paint on his left yellow pocket. (May be hard to see in the picture but more noticeable in person.)
- Ice cream cone is super flimsy and will fall out of his hand. He just refuses to hold it, it took me several tries just to get it to stay in his hand long enough for the picture.
- Basically no props or accessories. The ice cream cone is the only “prop” and like I wrote before it doesn’t even stay on. I’ve seen some Nendoroid basic figures come with better props than this. I don’t count his scarf as a prop because it’s a key part of his already simple outfit. (At least compared to other nendoroids or anime figures his outfit is quite simple.)
- The facial expressions. All of them are some variation of him smiling, could have at least gone for a neutral one or any other emotion other than pure joy. This is the least of my concerns though, I just prefer more variety makes it fun to pose.

For the price this seems a bit too basic, but I can’t really fault them to much since the pictures do in fact show you what you get. Another note would be that this Nendoroid uses a new type of neck joint which I still don’t see how it is any better but maybe I just need to get used to it. All in all, I like this figure but I cant help but feel it falls short compared to all my other Nendoroids, and it being one of the most expensive out of the few I own doesn’t help its case.
