Least Favourite in the Line

So this is my least favourite of the current 3 maid figures, with Entoma being my favourite and Delta being second, there’s 2 more coming, Narberal Gamma releasing this month (September) & Alpha next month. I already know they’ll be 4th & 5th in my ranking as I don’t really like either of them.

So the figure is fine, nice shading in her dress & the tops of her socks, FuRyu are always good with their shading. I really like her hair in the ringlets, looks really good and has nice shading.

I’m a fan of the red bases, and how they all have the same base, it’s great for distinguishing them as a line of figures. I would have much preferred them to have a nice decal on the base, it just makes such a difference to a figure. Even a simple checkered pattern like the Lolita Megumin & Yunyun just adds to the figure and makes it look better. But here at least they’re not a plain black base. Although Delta’s is better as it has more black shading all around the edge of the base, I don’t know why they didn’t do this for the other 2.

Now the main gripe I have is her metal boots, they don’t look anywhere near as good as Delta’s boots, hers look like real metal. But here they don’t do as good a job, and it’s weird because the metal on her knees has more shading but the boots don’t. You can really notice it in the pics I shared of her standing from behind, and the pic where she’s standing beside Delta if you compare their left legs (on our right) you can see the big difference in the boots between them, Delta’s look great, Solution’s not as good. You can see heavy shading at the top of Solution’s, but none at the bottom, and it just doesn’t look anywhere near as good.

So overall the figure is fine, but I think I’d only recommend her if you’re buying the entire line of figures, if you’re just looking for an Overlord figure I’d highly recommend the Lupusregina & Narberal from Alter, they’re beautiful, the Lupusregina is one of the best painted figures I’ve ever seen, that figure is outstanding.
