This figure along with the Luffy Dramatic Showcase of the same line are true collector pieces. They represent perfectly one of the most iconic scenes of the whole series. This is perfect for those who want to feel the series in their own collections.

In this statue Nami's character is embodied very well in the Arlong Park arc, this moment is one of my all time favorite Luffy moments and I think it foreshadows the fact that he will eventually pass the hat the same way Roger did done to Shanks.

I love that the position of the statue is sitting and that it doesn't get stuck in any base unlike other banprestos, personally it's not a problem for me, but it could be if you have inclined shelves, because it could slip if tilted. Furthermore, if you didn't want the base, it would certainly be fine without it.
