Beautiful Wings

This is a really nice little figure, she’s tiny, she’s the same size as the Melty Princess line of figures from MegaHouse. She’s non scale, but she’s a small fairy so I’d say she’s a 1/8, but she’s the size of a regular 1/10 scale female character.

I don’t know anything about the character or the series she’s from, I don’t usually buy figures that I don’t know the character, but I just loved the dynamic pose so much that I had to have her. How she’s leaning forward with her right leg going vertically up just looks great.

Kotobukiya did a great job on the paint & sculpt, I love her gloves & boots, all the little tucks & folds just make them look real, with nice shading in every fold.

Then her portrait is so cute with her hair dropped over one eye, and the beautiful blue eye we can see, with nice shading on her hair.

Then her wings look amazing, they remind me of the stained glass that you see in churches, they’re beautifully coloured and translucent.

Lastly the base is acrylic, I’m not sure what the pieces going into the base are supposed to be, they look like ice, one of the pieces was very difficult to get it, I actually got afraid that it was going to break because they’re plastic and they seem to have shrunk, as they weren’t lining up correctly. But I eventually got it in.

This was the first Kotobukiya figure I’ve bought that had a QC issue, I’m not sure if it’s a paint chip or a spec of paint, I zoomed in on my camera but couldn’t tell.

So overall this is a really nice little figure, if you like dynamic poses or you’re a fan of the character then you should definitely pick her up.
