the joint parts split WAY too easily when moving. had to use glue around the ring to fix it. gel glue is the best for this situation, as hard setting glue is too brittle. that being said, there's no other poseable flying bases of this size that i've seen. for dynamic displays with small figures, or custom tabletop games, maybe you will find this worth the cost.
i suppose this could be a reason why kotobukiya stopped producing them
