Another Triumph

The paint apps are stellar and I especially appreciate the yellow gold used for her buckles and buttons which is much improved from the Rean Schwarzer figure where I felt it was much too orange. She has very faint blush applied to her face, but it's so subtly I don't think pictures will capture the subtlety.

Her shelf footprint is relatively small, so I appreciate that she isn't swinging she staff wildly.

She comes with two hands for holding the staff in either more vertically or horizontally orientation.

She has a magnet in her face plate for the special edition that came with her hat and glasses, however if you have an Altina (which came with her own removable hat) do note that Emma *cannot* wear it. They made the magnets the same polarity, so Altina's hat will actively fight being worn by Emma. This is kind of funny, but also really unfortunate. Why not have more pieces interchangable amongst the figures to reward collecting multiples? Missed opportunity.

Her staff is made of metal and has a nice weight and feel.

The butt on the end of the staff is a bit too loose for my liking. It needed some intervention to increase resistance. I also found the vertical staff hand could let the staff slide down in her grip too easily sometimes. The moon charm in her hair is also easy to accidentally knock off with careless handling.

On they whole, another win. If you like the character or are collecting the series, it's a no brainer.

Emma is the Best Girl in the Trails Series

Kotobukiya has delivered what is possibly the best figure in the Legend of Heroes figure line with Emma. Emma is captured with her memorable pose that is both striking and elegant. The only concern I have is that it would take up of space that is due to the action pose of the figure; not much of a problem though

This is worth getting this figure if you’re a fan of the series

Hopefully they can continue with this quality with more characters in the series
