Many - maybe most - figures look their best in the professional sales photos here on the websites. This figure was on my wishlist for a long time, but my anticipation was rather low. It became a big favorite the instant it came out of the package! The Ichika figure is so much more appealing than photos and vastly exceeds my expectations. The head sculpt is exquisite. Ichika's dress outfit is probably the biggest surprise for how sharp and cool it comes across compared to the photo; well, except perhaps the shock that the tiny detail of the separate fork actually stays in place when you stick it to her hand. To be honest I have no clue what the "Fig à la mode" set is supposed to be about or mean, but Tenitol made it a first rate Quintuplets set, and Ichika earns well above the five stars.
