The Mafex figure is closer to Neca height. This figure has terrific detail and a great likeness. What it lacks, which is the deciding factor for me, is accessories. You get another head and swappable hands, along with the rifle. Mafex gives you three pistols, the head, hands, a knife, and the rifle. I was exceedingly disappointed that none of the weapons on this figure are removable. The joints are all functional and very useful. In it's scale, as a display with only its rifle, this figure is terrific. If you're looking for a figure to display in action poses, Mafex may be the way to go.
