So I’m a huge fan of Heavens Lost Property (Sora no Otoshimono) and this is a grail figure for me, as soon as I got into figures I wanted this, but it’s a hard figure to find, it rarely pops up on sites and when it does it tends to be expesive. I think I payed €300 ($352) for it and was delighted to get it.

So it’s an old figure, I think it was made in 2014, so obviously it’s not going to be up to the quality of modern scales, but it’s not bad either, it has a nice amount of shading and the sculpt is good.

So first off the likeness is perfect for Ikaros, Kotobukiya are always brilliant at getting good likeness to the characters & did an excellent job here. Her hair has a lot of shading and has 3 different colours in it.

We have multiple different types of paint used from the semi glossy paint on her clothes and boots, to the matt paint on her socks and then a type of pearl looking paint on her wings and everything has a nice amount of shading.

And then of course we have her watermelon, Kotobukiya always try to add some aspect of the story to their figures, like the field of flowers with their Frieren, the Eva’s in the rock on the base of their Asuka, Rei & Mari. And here we have her beloved watermelon haha.

So overall I’m delighted with this figure, it’s just the perfect Ikaros figure.
