I absolutely love this Alter Overlord line, all 3 figures released so far are excellent, some of the best painted figures I own, especially the Lupusregina, that figure is flawless.

Ok so first off is the scale, they are the very same scale as the FuRyu Overlord figures, despite the Alter being 1/8 and the FuRyu being 1/7. Go look at my review of the FuRyu Narberal to see a picture of both figures side by side.

Next is the quality of the figure, the levels of detail is crazy, her bunny suit is gorgeous, from the frills to the lace detail, then the painted on fishnets all look incredible, with amazing shading all throughout the figure. Alter is just the best, I’m gobsmacked that this figure is so cheap.

Then the base just looks incredible, looks like real stone marble, and all the little roses look great floating in the water, you can’t see it in the pics but there’s water underneath them, and her staff is shoved into the water pool and they did a great job on it, compared to the terrible job FuRyu did on their staff, looks terrible.

The only problem I have is the brown hair, it should be black, and her fringe should be straighter. But I’m not sure if this is based on So-Bin’s art, that’s possible.

So if you’re looking to buy Overlord figures please buy these Alter figures, the quality of the figures are 10x better than the FuRyu or Kadokawa, it’s not even close.
