This is the best Phat Company figure I own, slightly better than their new Hoshino from Blue Archive, but I don’t have good things to say about Phat Company. The plastic they use in their figures feels really cheap to me, no other figure company I’ve seen do their figures feel like this. The paint on their figures is usually pretty bland too.

Their Semiramis is terrible, the figure is covered in paint bleeding and feels like a Prize figure in certain areas, and I payed ¥32k for that. But this one is a lot better, it still has issues, the hand with the suitcase doesn’t fit very well and fell out one day, I’m just lucky the case didn’t break, it has also left paint transfer on her cloak as every time I lift it up the case wobbles.

It’s also got a weird viewing angle, you’re looking at her sideways, this is not always a bad thing, but here it’s just odd. The staff should have been facing in the direction of her head, and you can only see half her face, you could probably face her forward but then her staff is in the way and her hair is covering half of her face, you also lose nearly all the detail of the figure by doing this.

She’s also slightly overscaled, I’ve added a picture of her beside a 1/7 figure of Rebecca that has the same black/blue/white colour scale and a similar pose with one leg up standing sideways & you can see she’s bigger. I couldn’t display her with the rest of my Mushoku Tensei figures because she looks really out of place, it’s not just her scale but with her case, cloak and staff she takes up a lot of room.

So it’s not a bad figure of Roxy, I have 4 figures of her with 2 more on the way, the figure by Hakuhodo is my favourite, it’s by far the nicest figure of Roxy, and the ques Q is also really nice. The new figure by MegaHouse will probably be one of the nicest Roxy figure, I’ll see if it’s nicer than the Hakuhodo when I get it.
