Although it has its ups and downs, these first three games hold a special place in anyone's heart once they play them. I know that the first is a bit outdated, the second has one of the blandest stories and the third has its not so stellar moments (although, the third game is definitely the best out of the whole series, going toe to toe with the fifth. Just my oppinion). However, a good hack and slash is a good hack and slash, and DMC always delivered.
