Based on the original illustration by Harukawa, this figure depicts Dazai as the young man he once was. Despite his sleek black suit, Dazai looks like he’s fresh from a fight with his face half covered in bandages. His coat and hair are whipping around him, making it feel like he’s standing in a strong breeze. The soft colour pallet of the original illustration transferred beautifully to this figure. My first expensive figure and I was not dissapointed! The pictures are not misleading and I really love the jacket. For some reason.
I knew Dazai was gonna look amazing and he definitely does!! He looks exactly like his pictures and I'm very pleased at how accurate they were able to get him. His and Chuuya's base is very plane and dull but that's the only complaint I have about him!
