I bought this Eimi figure from Solaris Japan a few months ago, and overall I’m genuinely impressed both by the figure itself and by the care put into the shipping.
First of all, the packaging from Solaris Japan was absolutely outstanding. The box was wrapped with multiple layers of bubble wrap (both large and small bubbles), secured with seals and tape, and even covered in transparent plastic like it had just arrived directly from the manufacturer. Easily a 10/10 for protection and presentation.
The box design itself is fairly simple but elegant and perfectly fits Eimi’s aesthetic. The pink-to-white gradient on the front works really well, and the large display window with the small “insert card” style detail is a subtle but clever touch. Inside, there’s also a small instruction booklet explaining the assembly order to avoid damaging the more delicate parts.
The base is beautiful: glossy red acrylic with a mirror-like finish and gold lettering slightly offset so it lines up nicely once the figure is displayed. It feels heavy and premium. Mine had a couple of tiny scratches underneath, but nothing noticeable during normal display.
The figure itself is packed with details and delicate parts, so Mimeyoi included protective plastic almost everywhere: around the hands, hair strands, braid, and jacket straps. Assembly is mostly easy, although attaching the tiny hanging tag to the rifle can be a bit frustrating if you have large hands.
What immediately stands out about this figure isn’t actually the fanservice, but the incredibly soft and delicate pink paintwork. The skin tone looks smooth and gentle rather than plastic-like, and it contrasts beautifully with the black coat.
The amount of detail is honestly impressive:
ammo belt
bandages on the knee and shoulder
glossy black bra with zippers
headphones around the neck
necktie and side badge
jacket straps and cords
barcode-style hair accessory
Everything feels intentional and helps convey Eimi’s personality rather than existing purely for fanservice.
The coat itself is extremely well done, with subtle shading and a deep red interior lining. Her long pink braid and expressive purple eyes are gorgeous, and the slightly glossy lips give her a very soft expression without overdoing it.
The pose is probably my favorite aspect of the figure. It perfectly captures Eimi’s shy and awkward charm: inward-facing knees and feet, oversized jacket sleeves, and her left hand barely peeking out from the coat all make her look adorable and surprisingly natural.
And yes, the chest sculpt is undeniably prominent, but somehow it never becomes the sole focus of the figure. The softness of the colors, the pose, and the overall character design balance everything really well.
Overall, this is an excellent figure with fantastic paintwork, strong character expression, and an incredible amount of small details. Mimeyoi did an amazing job here.
Final score: 9.5/10
