Was on the fence about this figure, but the price was right, so I decided to pick it up. I believe this was one of the first Azur Lane figures ever made, though this version is a rerelease from 2023. The original figure was released in 2020.

The paint work and sculpting are excellent, and the pose is a perfect recreation of the in-game art. The hair is crisp, with pointy tips and a translucent quality to it. Almost like it is supposed to be sun soaked or have some water on it? All the Sakura flowers are present, and all the little ribbons and other things are present And accounted for. She comes with a large base (for displaying alongside swimsuit Takao on the same stand?), a umbrella, and a little bag with a towel, sunscreen and two soft drink bottles.

I am giving a 4 star review because I dislike the fact the figure splits in half in order to get the skirt on and off. The figure is fully assembled when it gets shipped, but to remove all the packing materials, you have to breakdown the figure, and the skirt is shaped in an odd way, so it can be difficult to line up or can get caught in the hair. Also, because it comes apart, there is a visible seam line, though you won't see it unless you are really looking for it.
Also, my figure had a scuff mark on back of the swimsuit, despite being brought brand new. It upset me, but it's not bad enough to warrant returning.
Overall, it's a decent figure, and a good buy if you like Atago or are trying to round out your Azur Lane figure collection. Just know that it is an older figure design, and may not be up to the same standards of figures today.
