So this is the first Flare figure I’ve ever bought, the quality is excellent, it reminds me of a figure from Amakuni or Alter, it’s similar in quality, meaning really good. There’s just such a massive difference between the handful of best manufacturers at the top and all the rest below.
So this is based on art from a title page of the manga, I really hope they make a figure of the Rochka from that image too, she’s dressed as a witch flying a broom, they would look great together. But it’s a perfect copy of the art, every single bandage on Matsuri is in the right place. You can’t really see in the pictures I posted but the base is translucent purple covered in gold glitter, and it has the background of the art as a decal on the base, the gravestones, houses, the moon and some bats, it looks good.
The paint & sculpt on this figure is excellent, Suzu has amazing shading, her wings, socks & hair all look excellent. And they even made a little Shirogane, he looks amazing too.
It also has the best likeness to Suzu of any of the figures of her, I have all of them, Matsuri is perfect too. I didn’t use the support pole (I hate support poles), I thought I was going to have to use it because it only has 1 foot peg, but it’s a nice square thick metal peg, and because of the way Matsuri is leaning to the right the foot peg is nearly in the centre of both characters, it’s pretty stable and I don’t think it will lean over time.
So overall this figure is excellent, and it’s a great price for 2 full 1/7 figures and a cat. That’s less than ¥16k per character, absolutely amazing for this level of detail.
