The Age Of The Primes toyline has been a pretty interesting line. But the Primes have been the main event for this lineup of figures. Onyx Prime is one of those showstopping figures, with different shades of brown, black, silver, and pops of yellow make him pretty colorful. The wings fine, but I really wish they had more articulation. The figure has four modes; a bipedal robot mode that looks great, but is a little boring. A centaur mode which is my favorite mode to display him in. A quadrupedal dragon mode which is not displayed in the instructions. Finally, a six legged dragon mode, which is the most interesting form he can take. The figure has pretty good articulation and comes with only two accessories; his spear and his tail which can be split in half and turned into a bow. Overall, Onyx Prime is a pretty good figure and really good entry for the Age Of The Primes toyline.
