From the hit anime Sousou no Frieren comes this exquisite 1/7 scale figure from Kotobukiya of Frieren! Frieren looks amazing in this figure, her beauty captured well in the sculpt and the sense of movement as she glides through the field of flowers is shown through the bounce of her hair and flip of her skirt. Frieren is holding her staff in one hand whilst making a beckoning motion with this other, asking you to join her on her adventure. The base of this figure adds to the whole experience, the grass covered with flowers and a small set of rocks to finish it off. Will you join Frieren on her journey?

I had originally ordered the DesignCoco Frieren & Fern figure, but the more I looked at the figures the more I preferred this, so I cancelled that & ordered this. And boy I’m happy I did, this is definitely the best figure of Frieren.
It has my favourite pose of all her figures, and it’s the only figure that added an aspect of the story from the manga to the figure itself, with the field of flowers, Frieren’s favourite spell, Kotobukiya are just great for things like that, always adding things from the story or lore of the character. And they look so good, each little flower is moulded separately and looks amazing. The rock in the base also looks excellent, sometimes rocks in PVC look plasticky, not here, it looks like a real rock, it looks even better than the rock in the base of the new eStream Megumin & it looks excellent, and it was ¥10k more on release.
I’m just a huge fan of Kotobukiya, I’ve never been disappointed with one of their figures, for the price they offer the best figures in that range.
And they’re also one of the best manufacturers for getting the likeness to the characters correct, and here they nailed it again, looks perfect.
I love the pose, looks like she’s just about to fly up into the sky, with her hair and cloak flying in the wind. Nice shading all throughout the figure, her boots look amazing with heavy shading & lots of tucks & folds to make them look real. Then her white dress has nice subtle shadings just to highlight the tucks & folds.
So again I think this is the best figure of Frieren that we have, so definitely pick her up if you can.
Big and beautifully done figure. The details are fine and subtle, well crafted. The paintjob is outstanding, not a blemish in sight. The facial expression is both mysterious and wise, and the pose is so fairy-like. The little flowers ar the base of the figure are so finely carved. It's definitely a wonderful Frieren figure, although it is a bit pricey.
The flowers on the base are finely crafted and further enhance the statue. You can choose whether or not to hold a stick in your right hand, this detail is also taken care of. The natural flow of the hair is wonderful and flows beautifully. It is definitely worth buying, it is a statue of superior quality to the others available.
