So Alter are one of the best figure manufacturers, and we have great quality from them again here. I had been meaning to get their original Asuka figure but now that I have this I’m happy, I now have 4 figures of Asuka and that’s enough for me.
So everything looks great on this figure, her hoody looks excellent with great shading throughout, her plug suit looks equally good with nice mixing of glossy & matt paints on different parts of the suit & again great shading.
The swap out heads are easy to swap, her right arm is removable and joins at the shoulder seam of the hoody so is nicely hidden. I’m displaying her with her hoody up, I prefer the look.
The likeness to Asuka is great, looks exactly like her, there’s so many figures of Asuka that look nothing like her. Although I wish we could get some figures of her smiling, she’s nearly always scowling. And then she looks great with the matching Rei, both with their hoodies over their plugsuits, love how they look.
So if you’re a fan of Asuka then you definitely need to pick her up, definitely one of the best Asuka figures available.
